Managing Disks

Editing

If necessary, you can increase the size of the previously created disk. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. In the Disks tab on the iSCSI Storage page, click the action button next to the required disk and select Change disk.
  2. Make changes to Storage size and click Save.

Disk name

The disk name and storage type cannot be changed. To modify these parameters, you must delete the disk and create a new one. The disk size can be changed only by increasing it.

Deleting

You can delete created discs. To delete a disk, follow these steps:

  1. In the Disks tab on the iSCSI Storage page, click on the action button next to the required disk and select Delete disk.
  2. Enter a name for the disc and click Delete Disc. This action is irreversible: the disk and all data stored on it will be permanently deleted without the possibility of recovery.

Disk with client

A disk cannot be deleted if a client is attached to it. In this case, you must first detach the disk from the client, and then delete it.
A disk also cannot be deleted if it has snapshots — delete all snapshots first, after which the disk can be removed.

Snapshots

Creating snapshots

  2. In the modal window that appears, fill in the fields:

    Description - optional field.

    Click Save.

The created snapshot will be displayed on the Snapshots page. On this page, you can also create new snapshots and view previously created ones.
