Editing Files

Documents stored on the ICDC Disk are edited using the built-in OnlyOffice text editor. Most text formats are supported for online editing by default.

Open formats such as .odt and .ods are also supported, but are automatically converted to .doc when opened for editing. If you need to edit files in other formats, please contact Support.

Some types of listings (e.g. YAML, XML, Python scripts) can be viewed as text files. Markdown files support both viewing and editing.

Co-Editing

OnlyOffice allows multiple users to collaborate on documents when file access is shared. If a document is already being edited by one user, other participants can only open it in read-only mode: their changes will not be saved.

By default, changes made by other users are highlighted in green. If needed, change history tracking can be enabled directly in the editor interface.
